There is a secret to finding contentment — you can’t do it alone.
We think that if we are strong and independent then we don’t need anybody. I don’t need a man, I don’t need a friend, I don’t need anybody, I can do it myself. No, we cannot do it ourselves.
Strength is knowing how to ask for help and knowing who to ask for help. We cannot achieve our purpose in life on the sole strength of our ego. It can’t happen.
So you have to connect to the source. I call it the Creator, or the light, but you call it what you’re comfortable with. We need to ask for help. We have to know that we can’t do it alone, and that that Light, that Creator energy is all around us. Realize day to day that G_d’s hand is in our day, it’s in the little things.
